Bagalkot HC prevails

Bangalore: Bagalkot Hockey Club defeated New Ashoka 3-2 in a State ‘C’ division league match at the KSHA Stadium here on Saturday.

Yogesh opened Bagalkot’s account in the 17th minute and Kariappa and Santosh added to the victors’ tally, while Joseph and James scored for New Ashoka.

Earlier, Regals HC held Germanites to a 2-2 draw. Yojesh and Abid scored for Germanites, while Shyam Somanna and Arogyaraj helped Regals HC draw parity with strikes in the 24th and 48th minutes.
