While the Ullal side got the better of N.S.A.M. First Grade College (Nitte) 2-0 in the first fixture, it had to overcome a spirited Kasturba Medical College (Mangalore) team 3-2 via tie-breaker. K.S. Hegde Basketball Foundation (KSHBF) posted impressive wins in the men’s section in the weekend monsoon league for the Independence Cup. KSHBF first defeated St. Aloysius College Alumni Association 59-38 and came up with a similar performance in demolishing Kasturba Medical College (Mangalore) 56-35.
