High Court judge retires

CHENNAI: Justice R. Balasubramanian of the Madras High Court attained superannuation on Tuesday.

A large number of advocates, judges, court officers and law officers of the State, led by Advocate-General R. Viduthalai, participated in the farewell function.

With his retirement, the sitting strength of the court has come down to 43. The sanctioned strength is 49. — Special Correspondent.
