KOCHI: Leading companies will be scouting for talent at The Hindu Opportunities Fair being held at Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School, Chembumukku, Kakkanad, Kochi, on August 18 and 19. This is the first time the fair is coming to Kochi, and candidates will be looking for excellent prospects for employment or re-employment. The fair has Cognizant as presenting sponsor and SFO Technologies as associate sponsor. Aptech is the training sponsor and The Raymond Shop, Kochi, the grooming partner. TMI First, the technology partner, will take care of the registration process and other technical requirements of the fair. Cognizant’s areas of operation include applications management, development, integration and re-engineering, infrastructure management, technology, architecture, programme management and change management. It operates a global business centre at the Special Economic Zone in the Muthoot IT Park. The Kochi centre would be employing about 400 professionals in the first year of operations.
