4 detained under NSA

CHENNAI: Four persons arrested following the detection of an arms training camp planned by naxalites at Murugan Malai near Periyakulam in June have been detained under the National Security Act (NSA).

A ‘Q’ Branch CID officer said the detention orders of Velmurugan, Palanivel, Muthuselvam and Karthi alias Kannan were passed by the Theni Collector. — Special Correspondent
