KOLAR: Municipal Administration Minister R. Srinivas lauded former Chief Minister D. Devaraj Urs as a harbinger of social equality in the State. The late Urs toiled hard to uplift the weaker sections by effecting the Land Reforms Act and distributing land to the tiller, said Mr. Srinivas at Urs’ 92nd birth anniversary function here on Monday. —Staff Correspondent
