Two die of cholera

TUMKUR: A woman and a boy died of cholera at Ramappan Hatti village in Tumkur district on Monday. Eighteen people in the village have been affected by the disease and admitted to the general hospital here. The people were affected by the disease after consuming water from a borewell in the village. The authorities gave the names of the victims as Abhishek (5) and Nagaratna (60).

A doctor said, “eight of the affected persons are critical.”
