Survey on ‘Indiramma’ held in Chittoor

Chittoor: The Intinta Indiramma survey programme was held successfully on the second day in the district, except in two places. The Opposition and ruling party MLAs and people’s representatives participated enthusiastically in the programme.

At Malepadu in Madanapalle mandal, the MPDO team was obstructed by people. Similarly at Karidamadugu in Palamaner mandal, people protested against non-inclusion of eligible persons in the Indiramma list announced by the officers.

Escalating costs

MLA Amaranadha Reddy attended the grama sabhas conducted at Pedhapur, Chembapalle, Kammavaripalle in Ramasamudram mandal in Punganur constituency. He urged the Government to increase the amount for construction of houses as cost of materials escalated and it was not sufficient to complete the houses. Deputy Speaker G. Kutuhalamma toured extensively in the villages of Gangadhara Nellore mandal, Vepanjeri constituency and explained to the people about several welfare programmes .

MLA Muddukrishnama Naidu explained to the people about Intinti Indiramma survey at the meetings held at Puttur municipality and BMR Puram in Puttur constituency while Technical Education Minister R. Chenga Reddy asked the people at grama sabhas held at Melambakam, Aruru, Padhiri and Kaipakam villages in Nindra mandal of Nagari constituency to utilise the schemes implemented by the Government properly and to upgrade their living standards.
