SFFC (Mohanur) and Sapthagiri Cricket Club (Chithalanthur) brushed aside the challenges of their opponents in the Canara Bank-DCAN ‘B’ division league at the SPB Colony and ICL Colony grounds in Namakkal on Sunday.
The scores:‘B’division: SFCC (Mohanur) 181 in 39.4 overs (N. Karthikeyan three for 18) bt Bharath CC (Namakkal) 151 in 28.3 overs (C. Suresh 45, Kesavan three for 15, S. Alexander three for 14).
NKCM (Kumarapalayam) 74 in 23.2 overs (Gnanasivam three for 9, Rajkumar three for 11) lost to Sapthagiri CC (Chithalanthur) 75 for six in 27.1 overs. — Sports Reporter
