North Zone in command

VIJAYAWADA: North Zone medium pacer Atchuth Rao claimed five for 17 to restrict South Zone to 127 for 8 in 54 overs at the end of the second day’s play in the three-day ACA under-22 inter-zonal tournament held at Tarakarama Stadium at Venkatagiri on Monday.

The scores: North Zone 256 all out in 101.4 overs (Vijaya Kumar four for 47, Naushad four for 53) vs. South Zone 127 for 8 in 54 overs (A. Rao five for 17).
