Pune: Evatina and Torque excelled when the horses were exercised here on Monday morning (Sept.3).

Training track:

600m: Arabian Music (Hamir) (1200/600) 42. Easy.

800m: Sovereign Power (Hamir) (1400/600) 54. Moved freely. Generalissimo (S.Chinoy) 53, 600/41. Urged in the last part. Very Bonafide (Merchant) 53.5, 600/40. Moved well. Torque (Jethu) 50.5, 600/38. Moved attractively. Golden Orra (N.Alam) 53.5, 600/41. Pressed. Peninsula (T.S.Jodha), Strathendrick (N.Jodha) 52.5, 600/39. Former ended four lengths in front. Warrior Spirit (Mansoor) 52, 600/39.5. Moved well. Stunning Star (Baandal) 53.5, 600/41.5. Shaped well. Cape Merino (Chowghule), Hitz (Oza) 53, 600/40. They moved level freely. Balance De Power (Bernard) 53, 600/39. Urged.

1000m: Beyond Belief (Mansoor) 1-9, 600/40.5. Good. Asclepieion (Aadesh) 1-8.5, 800/53, 600/40. Worked well.

1200m: Evatina (Aadesh) 1-18.5, 1000/1-5, 600/39. In great heart. Sail Away (Shailesh), Fiddlers Ferry (C.S.Jodha) 1-25, 1000/1-8.5, 600/41.5. They finished level . Lombardia (Mansoor) 1-26, 600/43. Easy.

1400m: Psychic Strength (rb) 1-41, 600/44.5. Easy. Democraticus (Aadesh) 1-38.5, 1200/1-23, 600/41. Urged.

Gate Practice: training track:

1000m: Princess Samerah (R.Pandey), Star Sparkle (S.Chinoy) 1-9.5, 800/54, 600/42. They jumped out well and former finished a length ahead. Passion In The Park (N.Jodha), Adams Obsession (I.Shaikh) and Star Legend (rb) 18.5, 600/41. First named finished four lengths in front. Take On (F.Irani), Knight (Riyaz) 1-7, 600/41. Former was well in hand while the latter was pushed to finish level. Tampa Bay (T.S.Jodha), Encouragement (Shailesh) 1-13, 600/43.5. Pair easy. Conqueror (Harish), Antonello (Baria) and Mischevious Trot (Shelar) 1-9.5, 600/41. Conqueror was the pick.

Mock race: Sept. 2. (Race track):

1200m: Hotstepper (T.S.Jodha), Czar Alexander (Rupesh), Astrea (P.S.Chouhan), Schnell (I.Shaikh), Calling The Shots (S.Chinoy) and Shyboy (Hamir) 1-12.5, 600/36.5. 1, 1/2, 1/2. Hotstepper who was racing fifth till bend came from outside and won the race by a length. Czar Alexander and Astrea who were running third and fourth respectively were well in hand and finished in the above order. First three are notable.

They ended level. Nanjing (Kapoor) 54, 600/41. Moved well. Much Faster (Hamir) 57.5, 600/43.5. Easy. Miles And More (Rathore), Apostrophe (C.S.Jodha) 55, 600/41. They are improving. Bright Side (Rathore), Queen Of Hearts (C.S.Jodha) 51.5, 600/38.5. Former ended five lengths in front. Aquilo (T.Mahesh) 52.5, 600/39. In good shape. Ptolemy (T.Mahesh) 56.5, 600/42. Easy. Sudarshan Chakram (P.S.Chouhan), Maybach (K.Kadam) 54, 600/40. Former superior. Sensation (G.Oza), Modesty (R.Pandey) 53.5, 600/42. Former finished five lengths ahead.

1000m: Shayara (Dashrath), Home To Home (Belose) -10, 800/54, 600/40. They were urged and ended level. Earl Of Warwick (C.Rajendra), Kalahari (T.Mahesh) 1-11, 600/42. They were easy. Raquel (Biramne), Esoteric (P.S.Chouhan) 1-11, 600/44. Pair easy. Elusive Study (Rupesh) 1-10, 600/41.5. Retains form. Dreaming (Rupesh) 1-12, 600/43. Pleased.

1200m: Touch The Sky (G.Oza), Red Indian (R.Pandey) 1-25.5, 800/55, 600/41.5. They moved freely. Hard Rock (Zameer), Dont Be Silly (rb) 1-24.5, 600/40. Former was six lengths superior. Imperium (Appu), Chevron (Hamir) 1-24, 600/42.5. Latter made up four lengths and finished level. Blue Vision (Appu), Secret Pilgrim (Hamir) 1-21.5, 600/41. Former started three lengths behind and finished five lengths ahead. Former to note.

1400m: Deeleecious (P.S.Chouhan) 1-39, 800/57, 600/44. Pleased.
