MAHABUBNAGAR: Minister for Rural Development G. Chinna Reddy on Monday inaugurated classes for the first batch of horticulture college at Krishivignana Kendra of Madanapur village in Kothakota mandal on Monday.
The Horticulture College, sanctioned for Telangana region, will be established at Mojerla village in Peddamandadi mandal in the district. However, to avoid delay in running of classes for want of infrastructure, the Minister inaugurated first batch of classes at Madanapur village.
Mr. Chinna Reddy said the Government had sanctioned Rs.13 crore for establishing four horticulture colleges in the State this year.
He said steps were being taken to inaugurate of 21st Century Gurukulam at Pebbair town and an English Medium residential school for minorities at Wanaparthy town.
