BANGALORE: Two persons arrested by the Hyderabad police in connection with the blasts at Lumbini Park and Gokul Chat were brought here for a narco analysis test. Highly placed sources in the Bangalore police told The Hindu that a police team from Hyderabad on Monday brought Imran and Rafiq to the city. They underwent a brain mapping test. Another police team from Hyderabad is also said to be camping here to trace Ridwan Gazi, a Bangladeshi. According to the sources, Rafsanjani, a Bangladeshi woman, detained by the Hyderabad police on charges of overstaying, is said to have received a call from Bangalore on her mobile phone. During interrogation, she told the Hyderabad police that her brother Ridwan Gazi called her from Bangalore. It is said Gazi and his family members are living here. There were reports that the Andhra Pradesh police picked up two persons from Bidar in Karnataka in connection with the twin blasts. But Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Shankar M. Bidari said they were only rumours. Referring to the reported arrest of Abu Hamza in Bangladesh on Sunday, the sources said they had not received any official communication but the city police had a dossier on him. Suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba operative Imran Bilal, who was arrested by the Bangalore police a few months ago, is an accomplice of Hamza. During a narco analysis test, Imran disclosed his links with Hamza. According to the police sources, Hamza is an associate of Shahid, another Bangladeshi national who is suspected to have masterminded the Indian Institute of Science attack and also the Hyderabad blasts.
