Ambulances flagged off

Chennai: Chennai City Police Commissioner G.Nanjil Kumaran on Monday flagged off the first two ambulances of a new fleet of ambulances commissioned by Billroth Hospitals. The fully air-conditioned vehicles are equipped with two-way radio control and mobile phones. Medication required for the acutely ill patients is available on the vehicles. The hospital conducted a free cardiac screening camp on Sunday and Monday for police officers, according to a press release.
