Elders Day to be observed on October 1

PUDUCHERRY: The Pondicherry Society for the Care of the Aged (PONCARE) will celebrate World Elders Day on October 1 at the Andhra Maha Sabha from 10 am onwards.

According to a press release issued by PONCARE, Minister for Welfare M Kandasamy, Oulgaret Municipality Chairman N S J Jayapal, local MLA R.Viswanathan and PONCARE Chairman D C Sahoo will participate. — Staff Reporter
