Concern over rise in cancer among women

Hyderabad: Minister for Women Development and Child Welfare N. Rajyalakshmi has expressed concern over the rising incidence of cancer among women in the State.

Inaugurating a two-day cancer screening camp for women employees of the Secretariat, organised by the Andhra Pradesh Women Employees’ Welfare Association here on Wednesday, she quoted experts to say that cancer if detected early could be effectively treated.
