Slight increase in water levels

Hyderabad: The recent heavy rain has increased only slightly the water levels in reservoirs supplying water to the twin cities and adjoining municipalities.

The reservoirs are yet to reach their full level. However, there is no problem in the drinking water supply, according to the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board.

The present level in Osmansagar is 1769.100 feet as against the full reservoir level of 1790 feet. The level in Himayatsagar is 1735.620 feet (1763.500), Singur 1711.370 feet (1717.850), Akampally 241.500 meters (244.200 m). Manjira , however, has reached its full reservoir level of 1651.750 feet.
