Held for murder of youth

CHENNAI: Police arrested a man for allegedly stabbing a youth, who later died at Government Royapettah Hospital on Wednesday.

According to police, Nagaraj (23) of Tiruchi and Kumar (28) of Govindapuram, Tirunelveli, were working in a tea shop at Besant Road in Ice House police limits.

There was a wordy altercation between them on Wednesday following which Mr. Kumar allegedly stabbed Mr. Nagaraj.

The latter succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

Three youths, who went for a swim in the Marina, drowned in the sea. Police rescued Leo, while two others are still missing.
