Minor reshuffle of IAS officers

CHENNAI: Three District Collectors have been shifted, in a minor reshuffle of IAS officers in the State.

The Collectors of Tiruvallur (Ranvir Prasad), Tiruvarur (Shambu Kallolikar) and Dindigul (R. Vasuki) have been shifted to posts in Chennai. Chennai Corporation Joint Commissioner M. Chandrasekaran will be the new Tiruvarur Collector, while Rajendra Kumar will be the new Tiruvallur Collector.

Mr. Ranvir Prasad will be the CEO, CMDA, while Ms. Vasuki will be a Deputy Commissioner in the Chennai Corporation, and Mr. Kallolikar will be Director, Fisheries.

S. Veerashanmughamony, who was with the State Election Commission, will replace Kumar Jayanth, who was Additional Secretary in the Protocol Department.
