NEW DELHI: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Monday condemned the bomb blast in a cinema in Ludhiana that killed six people and injured 25. “It is not sufficient to try and track down the culprits after such attacks. It is more important to identify and uncover the terrorist groups and networks operating within the country and their links abroad. The intelligence and security agencies will have to be geared up for this task,” the CPI(M) Polit Bureau said in a statement. The Polit Bureau said the attack in Ludhiana came within a few days of the blast in the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, indicating that there was a concerted bid by the terrorist network to wreak violence around the country. The party also conveyed its sympathy to the families of those affected by the blast.
