Boy drowns in sump

BANGALORE: A four-year-old boy drowned after he fell into a sump near his aunt’s house in Bangarappanagar slum in Rajarajeshwarinagar police station limits on Monday evening. The police said Sachin, son of labourer Anil, had come to his aunt’s house for the Dasara festival.

He was reported missing since Monday evening.

On Tuesday morning, Sachin’s body was found floating in the sump, the police said.
