‘Shobha yatras’ on Valmiki Jayanti

NEW DELHI: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president J. P. Agarwal on Friday took part in various “shobha yatras” taken out in the city on the occasion of Valmiki Jayanti.

Speaking at Red Fort and Mandir Marg, Mr. Agarwal observed that Maharishi Valmiki’s ideals were the underlying influence for Mahatma Gandhi’s social renaissance movement.
