Faizabad: Two children were run over by a speeding jeep and another seriously wounded in the district, police said on Thursday. The mishap occurred on Wednesday night when the jeep driver lost control over the vehicle and crushed the children playing by the road side, they said. Upset over the incident, locals torched the jeep and blocked traffic on the road.
