Semifinalists spottted

KOZHIKODE: Thiruvananthapuram, Malappuram, Palakkad and Thrissur entered the semifinals, in both the men’s and women’s sections, of the State senior kho-kho championship at the Sevamandir Post Basic School Ground, Ramanattukara.

The results (quarterfinals): Men: Thiruvananthapuram bt Kottayam 12-5; Malappuram bt Kannur 18-7; Palakkad bt Kozhikode 21-7; Thrissur bt Ernakulam.

Women: Thrissur bt Kannur 12-1; Thiruvananthapruam bt Kozhikode 24-1; Palakkad bt Ernakulam 9-4; Malappuram bt Kottayam 14-5.
