Priyanka Todi regrets Rukhwanur’s ‘intervention’ in her marital affairs

Kolkata: Priyanka Todi, wife of computer graphics designer Rizwanur Rahman — who died under mysterious circumstances on September 21 — has regretted the alleged intervention of her brother-in-law Rukhwanur and his friend Pappu in her marital affairs.
“Rizwanur and I listened to whatever they [Rukhwanur and Pappu] said…if they were not involved, things might have taken a different and better turn,” Ms. Todi said, in a telephone interview to a private television channel.
Ms. Todi had not made any statements to the media on the issue after the incident.
“They [Rukhwanur and Rizwanur] were two different kinds of persons,” she said.
Ms. Todi said that though she did not know about the events that had taken place on September 21, she wanted that the “truth should somehow come out in the open.”
Ms. Todi said that she did not know what to do next. The Central Bureau of Investigation is probing the death of Rahman, whose body was found along the railway tracks near here on September 21.
