Viva holds Mahindra

MUMBAI: Viva Kerala picked up a valuable away point following a goalless draw against a sluggish Mahindra United.

The goalpost came in the way of three attempts in the ONGC I-League football tie at the Cooperage here on Saturday.

Bagan posts win

At Kolkata, Baichung Bhutia struck once in each half to fetch Mohun Bagan its fist win in the I-League.

The home team downed Air-India 2-0 in a fourth-round match.

Bhutia struck the opening goal for his team in the 21st minute and ensured the home team’s win scoring his second in the 85th minute.
