Punjab to meet Baroda in final

HYDERABAD: Punjab and Baroda entered the final of the all-India under-19 Cooch Behar trophy cricket tournament here on Thursday.

While Punjab got the better of Karnataka by virtue of the first innings lead, Baroda beat Tamil Nadu by ten wickets.

The scores (semifinals):

At Gymkhana: Punjab 197 and 373 (Sharad Lumba 84, Gurkeerat Singh 85, Gunjot Singh 91, Mithun four for 58, Sunil Raju three for 70) drew with Karnataka 188 and 11 for no loss.

At ECIL: Tamil Nadu 102 and 252 lost to Baroda 205 and 150 for no loss (Kedar Devdhar 88 n.o., Anupam Gupta 51 n.o.). — Special Correspondent
