International workshop

CHENNAI: An international workshop on cardiovascular system in health and diseases was inaugurated at Alpha Arts and Science College, Porur, on Friday.

Speakers who participated in the inaugural function spoke on the scope in the biotech industry and encouraged the students to hone their soft skills, which the industry deemed vital.

Lindsay Brown, associate professor, University of Queensland, Australia, spoke on the recent research activities in cardiovascular system.

The workshop concluded on Saturday.
