THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The railways will ply the Garib Rath express between Kochuveli and Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at Kurla from February 1. Minister of State for Railways R. Velu will flag off the Kochuveli-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal Express on Friday, sources said. The Garib Rath will operate from Kochuveli on Sundays and Thursdays at 8.50 a.m. to reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 11.45 a.m. the next day. It will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 4.55 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays to reach Kochuveli at 8.30 p.m. the next day. It will have 12 sleeper class coaches, four chair car coaches and two generator vans.
