Railways reigns

JALANDHAR: Railways dished out a scintillating performance to win the National women’s hockey title for the 22nd time since 1981.

In the final of the 55th Rakshak women’s National hockey championship, Railways downed Jharkhand 3-1 here on Saturday. Suman Bala (2) and Asunta Lakra struck for Railways while Susila Lakra reduced the marjin for the loser.

Suman fired one more for Railways, eight minutes from time to close out the match.
