100 and going strong

BANGALORE: Carnatic music fans in Bangalore are in for a musical treat of sorts with the Ramasudha Charitable Trust set to conduct its 100th music concert at the Sri Ramana Maharishi Academy for the Blind.
The concert will be held on February 14 at 5 p.m. The programme feature recitals by renowned musicians. With U. Srinivas on the mandolin, H.K. Venkatram on the violin, Arjun Kumar on the mridangam and G. Guru Prasanna on the Khankari, the evening promises to keep the audience entranced in the world of classical music
Chairman of the Ramasudha Trust A.H. Rama Rao said the programmes are conducted to promote Indian culture among the differently abled persons. Several top level artistes have performed over the last 98 programmes.
