Eight arrested

BANGALORE: The police arrested eight youth and seized eight motorcycles for allegedly indulging in drag races in Koramangala on Saturday.

The police gave the names of the arrested as Murali, Prithvi Reddy, Sanial, John, Nityananda, Mukesh, Ramesh and Manjunath.

On receiving information that some youth were indulging in drag racing on the 100 Ft Inner Ring Road in Koramangala, the traffic police reached the spot along with Hoysala Patrol police team.

While they arrested the eight youth, others who had participated in the drag race escaped. The accused are aged between 20 and 23.
