Centrum plans more branches

COIMBATORE: Centrum Group, a financial service provider, plans to open at least 20 more branches in the country by the end of December this year, taking the total number of branches to 100.

The company opened its 77th branch here on Wednesday. It has various verticals providing financial services to clients, both institutional and non-institutional.

A release said the Coimbatore branch would be a full-service branch. A branch was planned in Salem. The company was looking at centres such as Madurai and Tiruchi too. Its product basket had widened with its tie-up with Future Group. It had a client base of nearly five lakh across the country. Centrum Capital was already catering to the corporate sector here with its financial products. Some of the products offered by Centrum were services on investments, life insurance, general insurance and portfolio management. “We try to create a portfolio approach for clients rather than just transaction service,” said Rahul Rege, CEO of the company.
