Amusing

The report “Americans outsource life’s tough and mundane tasks” (June 30) was amusing. I am at a loss to understand whether the manpower is so low in the U.S. or even an average American prefers to throw money around. That a chore like making a reservation at a restaurant should be outsourced to other countries is indeed mind-boggling.

Americans, who want someone else to do everything for them, are racing towards a disastrous future. The future generations will have only wealth sans health.

G. Swaminathan,

Chennai
