Pakistan to import buses, books from India

Islamabad: Pakistan has allowed the import of CNG buses, books for academic and scientific research, diesel and fuel oil from India under its trade policy for 2008-2009 announced on Friday.

It has also allowed the import of paddy harvesting machinery and driers, which can be sent in by road through the Wagah border. Cotton yarn and stainless steel that werebeing sent by train can now be sent by road too. .
