26-year-old killed by Blueline

NEW DELHI: A 26-year-old pedestrian was crushed under the wheels of a speeding Blueline bus at Laxmi Nagar here on Wednesday. According to the police, Pradeep Shukla was crossing the road in the morning when the bus plying between Shahdara and Vasant Kunj ran over him.

Angry passers-by stoned the bus and beat up the driver, Ashok Kumar. He was later handed over to the police.

Pradeep was a resident of Ganesh Nagar and worked for a private firm.
