Two policemen injured
NEW DELHI: Two policemen were injured in separate accidents at Nand Nagri here.Head Constable Surender Singh sustained serious head injuries after an unknown vehicle hit him near the Loni flyover while he was on his way home in Meerut. He was taken to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital and later shifted to Yashoda Hospital in neighbouring Ghaziabad.
The 45-year-old policeman is posted at Rashtrapati Bhavan. In another accident, Constable Sukhbir (40) was seriously injured when he was hit by a radio-taxi near the Ashok Nagar flyover. He has been admitted to Apollo Hospital. He is posted with the 9th Battalion of the Delhi police.
