In kabaddi, Pachaiyappa’s College (Chennai) notched up a 64-45 win over PSN College (Tirunelveli). On the distaff side, PSGR Krishnammal opened its basketball campaign with a 41-24 win over Sethu Institute of Technology (Virudhunagar).
