Central Zone restricts North

VIJAYAWADA: Central Zone restricted North Zone to 191 in 70.3 overs in the three-day ACA under-14 inter-zonal cricket tournament for the D. Venkateswara Rao Trophy at Anantapur.

The scores: North Zone 191 in 70.3 overs (Akhil 59, Bhima Rao four for 30, Vamsi three for 31) vs. Central Zone 88 for one in 27 overs (Sri Krishna 53).

Andhra Loyola College defeated P.B. Siddhartha Arts and Science College 3-1, while Sathavahana College outplayed S.Ch. Degree College 3-0 in the men’s section of the Acharya Nagarjuna University inter-Collegiate badminton tournament on Wednesday.
