City wins under-16 match

Chennai: S.R. Vibhu made 94 in City’s second innings on the final day of the R.K. Venkatachalam Trophy under-16 match against Combined Districts here on Wednesday, which ended with City winning on the basis of its 40-run first innings lead.

The scores: City XI 243 and 248 for seven in 81.4 overs (S.R. Vibhu 94, B. Rahul 67, P.T. Sivanesan 26, K. Karthik three for 63) drew with Combined Districts XI 203.
