Boy drowns in well

TIRUPATTUR: A 15-year-old boy drowned in a well while bathing at Jayapuram near here on Saturday.

Police said Murali of Andikoundanoor was a Standard X student of Jayapuram Government Higher Secondary School. He and his friends, on their way home, jumped into a well for a bath.

But, Murali, who did not know swimming, drowned.
