Sadhu calls off indefinite fast

BERHAMPUR: A sadhu, Laxmi Baba, called off his indefinite hunger strike on the eighth day at Pralakhemundi in Gajapati district on Sunday. He withdrew his hunger strike after discussions with the district administration and police. The sadhu of Mahendragiri area of the district had sat on hunger strike in front of the sub-collector’s office at Paralakhemundi demanding release of innocent persons arrested following the communal violence in the district.
