IT Recruitment Fair at Pune
PUNE: Information Technology Careers, Australia and New Zealand in association with Monotech Systems Ltd will hold an Information Technology Recruitment Fair in Pune on May 6 and 7.
This is the company's second such IT fair in India, the first one being the Bangalore show held in January. According to Mr. Wenceslaus Anthony, Director of the company, over 10,000 IT professionals had registered their profiles with the firm during the
first event.
The company plans to hold a series of such recruitment fairs all over India. It has already opened shop in Chennai. The company will also hold such fairs in the US so that IT professionals working there, can seek placements in India or in the Asia-Pacifi
c region.
This time, however, the number of participant in the fair is being limited to 30 to provide better services, Mr. Anthony said.
Professionals seeking placements through these fairs are required to have at least 3 years experience in their area of expertise. -- Our Bureau
HLL launches Lipton Ice Tea
HYDERABAD: Hindustan Lever Ltd (HLL) has launched -- Lipton Ice Tea -- a `ready to drink' tea brand here which is available in `take-away' bottles of 250 ml each and priced at Rs. 10.
Offered in two flavours -- Lemon and Mango -- it acts as a thirst quencher and is packed with natural tea.
It plans to follow up the launch of the product with a series of roadshows and events at popular youth spots across the twin cities. These events are targeted at providing an opportunity to experience fun games -- beach volleyball, trampoline,
rope climbing and half court tennis -- similar to those planned by Lipton globally, according to a company release. -- Our Bureau
