Net2Travel.com signs pact with go4i.com

NEW DELHI: Net2travel.com, a travel portal, has announced a strategic alliance with Go4i.com, the joint venture between Hindustan Times and Chase Capital Partners.

Under the alliance, Net2travel.com will power Go4i.com's commerce on its travel channel on an exclusive basis and provide customised travel solutions to support the latter's content, a company release said.

The alliance is based on a revenue-sharing model and holds good for three years. ``We will provide Go4i.com's customers with comprehensive travel options backed by customer service and support. This alliance is in line with our overall strategy to increa se our online presence by forging alliances with leading horizontal and vertical portals,'' Mr. Manish Chandra, CEO of Net2travel.com, said.

Net2travel.com had earlier acquired Pearl International Tours and Travels and Hopp Worldwide Ltd to become a `click and brick' travel portal. The two companies together had an annual turnover of Rs. 150 crores.

The acquisition gave the portal a real-world network of travel offices which allows it to provide on-ground customer service and support to its clients. -- Our Bureau
