TIP-OFF

Contributed by V. Narayanan

1. To open windows Explorer, Press ``windows key'' on the Keyboard + E

2. Alt + Tab helps to move among open application windows and to switch between them.

3. Instead of right clicking, and selecting the option ``Rename'' for re-naming a file or short-cut or folder just press F2 for renaming.

4. To find the files in a particular folder, instead of wading through the route of START-FIND and then selecting the folder/directory, select the folder in which you want to ``find'' file and then press F3.

5. If you want to delete an item directly without moving the content to the ``Recycle Bin,'' select the item to be deleted, press shift + delete. To the pop-up window asking for delete confirmation say ``yes.'' Now the item has been deleted forever.
