India Nippon net at Rs 11.90 crores

CHENNAI: India Nippon Electricals Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs. 11.90 crores for 1999-2000, as against Rs. 9.09 crores in the previous year - an increase of 31 per cent.

The company's turnover during 1999-2000 was Rs. 97.97 crores, up 15 per cent over the previous year.

The board of directors had earlier declared an interim dividend of Rs. 7 per share. The board has not recommended any final dividend.

The company has received a letter of intent from Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India for the supply of flywheel magneto for their vehicles, according to a press release. -- Our Bureau
