Compaq suite of enterprise portal solutions launched

COMPAQ India has announced a globally available suite of solutions and services targeted at the enterprise portal market. The offerings, part of Compaq's NonStop eBusiness vision, enable customers to implement an enterprise portal rapidly.

At the same time, it gives them the flexibility to customise the portal to their unique environment, a company release said.

In order to maintain a competitive edge in e-business, companies are increasingly reliant on Internet technologies to stay connected with their customers, partners and suppliers.

The solution sets announced by Compaq enable the creation and deployment of enterprise portals, with which the employees can find critical information quickly, work productively and collaborate on new ideas with fellow workers, the release added.

``The enterprise customer is today realising the tremendous benefits of deploying Internet technology-based portals within the organisation,'' said Mr. Kallol Hazra, Marketing Manager (NonStop eBusiness), Compaq India.
