Suprajit foray into IT

BANGALORE: Suprajit Engineering has floated a joint venture with Winner Computer Services called Suprawin Technologies. Through this joint venture, Suprajit, a manufacturer of liner cables would be making a foray into IT sect or.

Mr. K. Ajith Kumar Rai, Chairman, said that the company would be focusing on enterprise applications, enterprise networking and enterprise services.

The new entity proposes to develop affordable ERP solutions targeted at the SME segment and key applications for sales force automation, marketing automation, call centres and help desk systems, service field force automation and e-business.

Suprajit Engineering, which is backed by the TVS Group, would be holding a 51 per cent stake in the joint venture. The rest would be held by Winner Computers. -- Our Bureau
