Eveready GP rechargeable to target rural market
EVEREADY Industries India Ltd, today launched its rechargeable nickel cadmium pencil (AA) batteries, Eveready GP, in Chennai. Each Eveready GP (AA) rechargeable battery can reportedly be recharged up to 500 times under standard conditions.

NEW DELHI:Canon India has unveiled a `freedom offer', which entails that on the purchase of a MultiPASS device or laser facsimile from Canon, a fully automatic camera worth Rs. 2,545 or a Sony cordless worth Rs. 2,995 will be given as away as free bies. Other freebies are in the form of consumables such as BC20 black cartridges and FX3 toner cartridges. The offer can be availed of at select cities and is on for a limited time period.

Dockers to get national presence
WITHIN the next 18 months, Levi Strauss (India) Pvt Ltd, is aiming at establishing a national presence for Dockers, its premium brand of khaki wear, recently launched in India.

Pepsi extends Miranda Orange variants
PEPSI Foods Ltd, has extended its Mirinda Orange brand to 500ml PET bottles in the Delhi market. Prior to the brand extension, Mirinda Orange has been available in the capital in 1.5 litre PET bottles, apart from regular 300ml, 1 litre and half-litre gla ss bottles and 330 ml cans. The 500ml PET bottles are priced at Rs. 15 each.

Tata Honeywell expands range
WITH a presence in the electronic security solution segment, Pune-based Tata Honeywell Ltd is all set to expand its presence in this sector with its new range of surveillance systems, according to Mr. Harshvardhan Chitale, Head Corporate Strategy and Bus iness Development. The surveillance systems include CCTVs and Video door phones.
