DSQ Software: Lining up acquisitions
THE indications provided by the top management of DSQ Software that the company plans to acquire two US firms for $15-20 millions may not have any influence on the stock price in the short-term.
Though there are indications that the target companies have a similar profile and may add to the client base if the deals go through, any price influence may come about only when the deals are done and specifics about them are available. The acquisitions
are to be financed partly in cash and partly in stock. Till more concrete developments emerge, the acquisition plans may leave the valuation of the stock unaffected. -- BL Research Bureau
